Directions to Katherine Smith's Persimmon Tree Farm...224 Sage Lane, Buena Vista

Persimmon Tree Farm's physical location is just off South River Rd. between Riverside and Cornwall. 

FROM Buena Vista pick up Longhollow Rd...follow it to South River Market.  Turn right (north) onto South River Rd and continue through Riverside. The railroad will be on your right and South River on your left.  Look for Twin Falls Lane, then take the next right onto Sage Lane. Cross the tracks and bear to the left.  Continue to the top of the hill, past the Hamilton's. The gravel road swings to the right, continue following it as it swings across the top of the meadow, and then back to the right.  Look for a place to park along the road to the house. 

FROM west of Rt 11.  Turn off of 11 onto  Rt.56 east...follow it to Vesuvius.  Pick up Rt 608 there.  Do not cross the tracks. Continue on 608 through Cornwall.  Just south of Cornwall, turn onto Sage Lane, continuing across the tracks and bearing to the left.  (continue as above)

FROM Lexington, Rt 11.  Turn right at the East Lexington Market onto Old Buena Vista Rd.  Follow it to Neriah Baptist Church, then make the hairpin turn downhill  (do not take Borden Grant Trail) to South River Market.  Turn left (north) onto South River Rd (continue as above)
