This is the largest of the dills which can be enjoyed both as a flower in about 12 weeks or as an herb by snipping the fern-like leaves prior to flower set. Good companion plant for bug control as it attracts many beneficial insects and pollinators and is a host plant for the black swallowtail butterfly. Best sown directly into a moist and sunny garden location, 1/4 " deep in rows 1-2' apart. Germinates in 10-14 days. Thin to 10-12".
