The Blackberry Lily is easily grown, but needs well-drained soil. Each flower usually lasts only a day, but the plant will produce flowers over several weeks. Seed pods containing blackberry-like seeds provide additional winter interest. Clumps of Blackberry Lily slowly expand by creeping underground rhizomes.
