Poet's Daffodil is a fragrant beauty, first introduced in 1919. It displays elegant, pure white flowers up to 3" wide adorned with six wide petals and tiny, red-rimmed, golden-yellow cups. Blooming in late spring, one flower per stem, the blossoms rise atop a clump of narrow, strap-shaped leaves. Great in sunny borders, this daffodil performs better than other daffodils in wet, poorly drained areas. Because of its sweet scent, it makes excellent cut flowers. It is the winner of multiple awards: Royal Horticultural Society, Award of Garden Merit; American Daffodil Society, Wister Award.
