Primarily grown for its tasty leaves, Salad Burnet is a hardy, dainty perennial forming a low basal rosette of pinnate leaves, each with 4-12 pairs of rounded, toothed leaflets. The ferny leaves have a delicate, nutty, cucumber-like flavor, and are a great addition to summer salads and drinks. The unique crimson, rounded flowers appear atop tall slender stalks well above the foliage.
