Little Redhead Woodland Pinkroot is a low maintenance perennial that will bring the hummingbirds to your yard! This plant does well in full sun to part shade and will sporadically rebloom throughout the summer. Spigelia marilandica was named 2008 Wildflower of the Year by the North Carolina Native Plant Society and, in 2010, won the Montine McDaniel Freeman Horticulture Award from the Garden Clubs of America.
