Introduced into the United States from the former Yugoslavia, Lenten Rose is an early spring blooming perennial with beautiful, long-lasting nodding flowers in shades of white, cream, pink, green, rose, red and purple. They love the shade and tolerate both dry and wet conditions. Selected "Plant of the Year" in 2005 by the Perennial Plant Association.
