Golden Hops are attractive, perennial vines that will quickly cover a wall or fence. Plants die to the ground in the winter, but will return the next season. Hops are dioecious, meaning that there are separate male and female plants. Fragrant flowers borne on females are traditionally used for flavoring beer. 'Aureus' is a winner of the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit.
