Husker Red Beardtongue is an award winning perennial with erect, deep wine-red stems that boast about 50 large, bell-shaped, 1"-long white flowers with hints of pale pink. The foliage is particularly handsome and lush with lance-shaped, rich bronze-red leaves. Husker Red is a versatile garden perennial that is useful as a specimen or cut flower.  Perennial Plant Association, Plant of the Year, 1996.
