The Mistflower can grow to 3 feet high but often is shorter thus good as a border plant. The leaves are triangular in shape and opposite on the branches, with the flowers at the top of short-stemmed clusters, creating a flat top apprearance of bright blue or violet flowers.The Blue fluffy-edged flowers really attract late-season butterflies. Be aware this wildflower spreads quickly in the right growing conditions.
Seeds must be sown in fall or cold stratified for 3 weeks to 3 months.
