White vervain is also known as the Nettle-leaf vervain due to its large (3-8 inch) ovate, coarsley toothed leaves This native perennial easily self seeds and grows in part shade and full sun. Spikes of small white flowers occur June-October. Tolerates moist soils as well as poor soils and easily establishes in disturbed areas. Seeds can be sown directly in the garden.
