Koginut squash is a vigorous hybrid cross between butternut and Japanese kabocha squash producing up to 2 lb winter type fruits. Seeds are from a second generation crop grown successfully in Rockbridge.

 

Best started indoors 2-3 weeks before last frost, or direct sow when soil temperature exceeds 70 degrees.
