Boneset is a clump forming perennial in the Asteraceae family. It tolerates a wide range of soils from sandy to clay but prefers moist soil and will tolerate occasional flooding. Clusters of small white flowers appear at the tops of stems in late summer to fall. Makes a good cut or dried specimen.
Direct sow on surface of soil in late fall or indoors 8 weeks before last frost in spring after 30 days of cold moist stratification.
